Herbal Lavender Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups water

  • honey to sweeten

  • ⅓ cup organic dried lavender

  • up to 1 cup fresh lemon juice, strained

Instructions:

  1. Bring water to a boil in a large pot

  2. Add crushed lavender to the boiled water. Remove the pot from the heat source and stir in honey to taste.

  3. Cover, refrigerate, and steep for 2 hours.

  4. Strain. Stir in the lemon juice and serve over ice.

This is a great way to reap the benefits of your herbs.  Lavender is a nervous system relaxant, anti-depressant, and effective against headaches. 

Lemon promotes a lymphatic cleansing effect in your body.
