Shipping, International Shipping, Returns, and Rush Order Policies

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Up the Hill Inc.! Below are the terms and conditions that outline our shipping policy:

Please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and fees levied by your country's customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in your order total or shipping cost at checkout. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We recommend checking with your local customs office for more information before placing your order.

Processing Time
All orders are normally processed within 3 business days. Orders are not fulfilled, shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. Higher volume of orders may affect this timing.  

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your regular and bulk orders will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Bulk orders may incur additional charges.  Delivery times may vary depending on your location and shipping method selected.

Shipment Confirmation and Tracking
You will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been shipped. We are not responsible for shipping agent delays in shipping.

International Shipping
We currently do ship to countries besides Canada.   International shipping rates and times may vary, and any duties and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Lost or Damaged Items
Up the Hill Inc. is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. If your order arrives damaged, please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim.

No Returns or Refunds Policy for Botanical Items

Due to the perishable and delicate nature of botanical items, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds. This policy ensures the integrity and safety of our products, as once they leave our care, we cannot guarantee their condition upon return. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to reach out with any questions  before making a purchase.

Rush Order Policy

We understand that sometimes you need your order in a hurry! We offer a limited number of Rush Orders to accommodate your tight timelines. Please note the following:

  • Rush orders may incur a surcharge: 
    •  15% for moderate rushes (e.g., 3–5 days turnaround)
    • 20–25% for urgent or next-day requests
  • Additional shipping costs may apply depending on the delivery method and destination.
  • Rush availability is subject to our current production schedule and staff availability and may not always be offered.
  • If you require a rush order, please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability.
